1 ENSEMBLE FRACTALES

Featuring Agita Reke

Almost always ends up with diamonds…

Ensemble Fractales partners with composer Agita Reke for this unique performance which invites listeners into Huxley’s world. The concept of this piece revolves around the author’s personal encounter, serving as a metaphor for the contrasting effects of hallucinogenic substances – both positive and negative.

“A little later there were sumptuous red surfaces swelling and expanding from bright nodes of energy that vibrated with a continuously changing, patterned life. At another time the closing of my eyes revealed a complex of gray structures, within which pale bluish spheres kept emerging into intense solidity and, having emerged, would slide noiselessly upwards, out of sight”.

A.Huxley
