1 THE THIRD GUY + STIJN DEMEULENAERE

Stijn Demeulenaere and The Third Guy duo present Everybody Lives Here, a project where field recordings and musical instruments interact with the natural sonic environment of a place.

Through recording, amplifying, or modifying spaces, the three performers create layers of sounds, all interacting with each other. Creating a multilayered trialogue, bound between time linearity, and space.

With Everybody Lives Here we want to point out the fact that older cultures made no distinction between objects actively producing sounds, and objects passively modifying those sounds. Our goal is to create a sound environment that researches the sonic being of places, their acoustics, their soundscape and the listening of the audience and ourselves.

2 2GIRLSNAMEDSERGIO

2GIRLSNAMEDSERGIO is the musical project by Lukas De Clerck & Amber Meulenijzer, longtime partners in sound. Post apocalyptical anti meditational sounds provided by homemade synthesizers, organs, contemporary and ancient flutes, voice madness and other airborn noises. Always radical in their drone improvisations they make many chambers sing. A first tape was released on the Brussels label Stadskanker. A second release is on the way!
